1. Who We Are

Aetheria Forge, LLC (“Aetheria Forge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an independent app design studio. Our registered business address and primary contact email for privacy matters is doug@aetheriaforge.io. This policy applies to all applications and websites we operate, including KneadManna (kneadmanna.app), Oneiro (oneiroapp.app), and this studio website (aetheriaforge.io).

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google profile name, email address, and profile photo URL from Google's OAuth service.

User-Generated Content: Content you create within our apps — including journal entries, prayer requests, reading plan progress, and notes — is stored in your account and associated with your user ID.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you use our apps, including features accessed, session frequency, and in-app activity (such as Faith Points earned). This data is used solely to improve the product.

Payment Information: We do not store your payment card details. All payment processing is handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and processes billing information in accordance with their own privacy policy.

Device & Technical Data: We may collect your IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers for security, analytics, and debugging purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your account
• To provide and improve our app features
• To process subscription payments and manage billing through Paddle
• To send transactional emails (account confirmations, receipts, password resets)
• To respond to your support requests
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Google Firebase & Firestore — authentication and cloud database storage
• Paddle — payment processing and subscription management (Merchant of Record)
• OpenRouter / MiniMax — AI-powered features (verse interpretation, trivia generation)
• Printful — print-on-demand merchandise fulfillment (where applicable)
• Vercel — application hosting and CDN

When you use AI-powered features, your input (verse text or questions) is sent to third-party AI providers. Do not submit sensitive personal information through AI features.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or tax compliance purposes (e.g., payment records, which are retained for 7 years per standard accounting requirements).

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data
• Data portability (receive a copy of your data in a structured format)

7. Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), Firebase security rules, and access controls to protect your data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
